How to setup the system software on my Playstation 3

This article explains how to setup the initial system software on your Playstation 3




After you done with setting up your Playstation 3 and TV with all the physical connections, you would need to follow the steps below:
  1. Switch on your TV.
  2. Turn on the Main power switch on the back of the PS3 system.
  3. Touch the power button on the front to start the system.  (Light turns to green on the console).
  4. Using a USB cable, connect the system and the wireless controller.
  5. Press the PS button on the controller.
  6. After a few seconds, you would see the initial setup screen on your TV.
  7. Complete the initial setup as guided.
